1.How do I buy a kit?

a. Please locate and contact an authorized PHILIPS DVR dealer by clicking the [Authorized Dealers] button at the top of the webpage. 

b.  Select the product you wish to purchase and [Add to cart] or [Buy it now]. A fitment professional will contact you to verify fitment and the correct application. Please be ready to supply an image of the area around your rearview interior mirror to confirm the correct product for your vehicle. 

2. Does it record when the vehicle is parked?

a. The Parking Mode requires the optional hardwire kit to be installed to power the system, enabling 24/7 recording unless voltage thresholds disable the system. 

3. Do I need to hardwire or splice wires?

a. No splicing is required for installation. The hardwire kit is available to enable the Parking Mode feature and is convenient to connect to many fuse boxes. 

4. Can I use my own microSD® card?

a. Yes, it supports up to a 256GB capacity card. A class 10 card is required for recording performance. 

5. Is the app free? Are there any subscriptions?

a. The PHILIPS app is free to download and use. There are no subscriptions required. The app is used to view, download, and share footage. The same app allows you to configure your system.
